I’ve been working out with Mike for a year and a half now, and I could not have asked for a better trainer.
Mike is very knowledgeable with the best exercises and techniques to help me achieve my goals and keep me motivated. He has a keen sense of when to push me so I can get to the next level, and as a result my strength and fitness have improved noticeably.
Mike is also extremely reliable and punctual, always showing up ahead of time with exercises already planned out, and he makes each session fun and engaging with his friendly personality.

After a boating accident left me with wedge compression (fracture) of two my vertebrae, Mike has helped me over the past two years to stabilize and strengthen my back. He first helped me work through the stabilizing exercises my physiotherapist provided me and then build upon the routines based on his own expertise. We have now gone beyond the stabilizing exercises and have incorporated strength training into the routine. While he does push me to get to the next level, Mike is very careful to make sure I’m feeling okay and not pushing myself too much. I see a definite improvement in my form and strength. I am also very happy with my progress now that I have started interval running, something that I loved doing before my accident. I highly recommend Mike as a trainer, especially if you have any back or neck issues.
